If Carolina didnt have 4 nhl calliber goalies (Andersen,Ranta,Kotcheckov,and Halak on a PTO) this could work. but for that reason it wont.

Andersen is out indefinitely with blood clots btw. Thats why I thought it was cool idea

Canes aren’t likely to move Chatfield, but TDA is apparently on the block. Canes probably just run a trio of Raanta, PK, and Halak until Freddie returns.
