Hang on there bud , I posted in June that Joseph had value and would have a bounce back year…. He battled injuries last year and was never 100%. I also heeded caution to the signing of Tarasenko. I just sit back and watch, I am not going to keep repeating the same thing over and over.

I love Joseph and think the Sens should keep him. However if he were to get traded at this point he would still be a cap dump. If he continues playing how he did yesterday then he could maybe be traded for a late pick later in the season.

If you want to separate the hockey fans who can talk about the Flyers versus the hockey fans who can’t talk about the Flyers, you just have to ask them how Risto played last season. When they tell you he was bad, you automatically know their opinion is useless becwuse they don’t watch. Last season was the first year Risto actually looked like an NHL defenseman and a decent one at that. He’s still wildly overpaid and Chuck got fleeced in the trade but he actually looked like a low-end 2nd pairing guy finally under Torts.

Loved Joseph in the pre-season as well; which should be kept in mind if we're discussing value. Sure, it doesn't matter and is against AHL players, but he is objectively better than Kubalik and can drive plays better. His term and AAV still makes him a dump at the moment, but I think this will be a different story by the end of the season. Hope he keeps this up and PD realizes Kubalik + Thomson is the way to shed cap.
