I can't see Matthews signing with Habs. Don't know if will sign with the Leafs either. He doesn't have THAT many options due to his high salary, but he will have a choice to get about the same money from at least six teams.

That's true if that "any team" got to sign him in FA and had the cap space sure, or if they didn't have to give up half their total amount of assets to trade for him.

Hawks decline. They aren't taking Dvorak for free. Montreal adds their '25 or '26 2nd to dump Dvorak on the Hawks.

He is looking but idk I got a feeling reason why he isnt signed rn is Tree is pushing for 8 years. He is a tough negotiator when it comes to term and can often get guys on 6-8 year deals when he wants to

I got a feeling he may break the mold with Matthews and if he breaks him then maybe Willy finally realizes hey I cant ask for 10m lul
