Happy to have Eetu back for three more seasons after this one. He has really turned into an excellent two-way player.

To think we got a potential solid 2-way player out of the Trocheck deal. Great contract for an awesome player in Eetu.

Eetu, Lundell, and Barkov will make an insane 2-way C depth and an amazing PK

He had a great playoff run, he's a player that impressed me.

It could really turn into a bargain if he continues his progression. If not, it's still a fair deal. Anyhow, great deal for FLA

This is a really great deal for the Cats. Love the term, love the cap hit, love the player. Great stuff, I think Luostarinen is due for a big season

Really good work here by the Panthers. This deal doesn't kick in until 2024, so getting a 24 year old to sign early, before the cap is going up, to such a reasonable contract is just good business. I know he was an RFA at the end of this, but there was no requirement for him to sign early, and this makes deals like the Kampf deal look so much worse. Younger better player for only $600k more? Easy W.

It's never a good signing if it's for more than $2.5 million and I can't spell the guy's name.

I wasn't one of them, don't worry.

He's earned an average of 35 points over the past two seasons, while he's solid defensively. $3 million is a good deal, even if he slips offensively this season. If he continues to improve, then $3 million three years from now will be a stellar deal.

There's the "one career year" argument, but if he was being paid based on last season alone, I think he'd be getting something more like $4M AAV.
