Pittsburgh would have been interested in this before signing Graves to a long-term deal. Now they don't have a need for Hanifin.
EDIT: Looking at that CAR trade, it is an outrageous overpayment for Lindholm.

Canes aren’t moving KK and won’t be paying Lindholm the 8.5mil he will surely be looking for.

I don’t know how much of a need Zadarov would be. If Jones or Gustaffson doesn’t work out, they probably would need another puck moving defenseman

Canes aren’t trading KK for lindholm. They likely wouldn’t extend him and price for a rental would probably be a first and a prospect.

Have you considered moving the letter A to the end of the alphabet? It might remove you from some of the "any team" trades.

Backlund is going to be 35 y/o at the deadline. He had a great career IMO but you don't give pieces like Pinto or JBD to get him

Tanev was also great but he's going to be 34 y/o and has a very long injury history. You don't give pieces like Pinto or JBD to get him
