    dear god that dumba contract. Pass, i'd much rather have Jeff Petry.
    Tarasenko is going to take a 1 year deal somewhere, that seems to be pretty set, and it won't be in pittsburgh

    I agree Tarasenko will likely sign a 1-year deal due to the expected cap, but like the idea of pairing him with Geno.
    Admit I hadn’t realized Dumba had declined quite so much.

    The Hawks have no need for a goalie or another veteran D-man, so why would they give anything to take on one of each at a combined cap hit of $4.5m… they wouldn’t. You would need to send a 1st round pick or 2 x 2nd round picks to get the Hawks to accept that deal.
