Love the dedication. What's the record for the most #1 picks. Be great to have all of these, probably would have been better plan in a different draft year.

I suspect the ANA deal will be much less than that. The rumours where that ANA was being offered something like Brown + 1st from TOR for Vatanen. So in the two possible scenarios we have are:

1: In: Brown + TOR 1st Out: Vatanen + Wagner

            2. In: Nothing Out: Wagner + Theodore + 2nd

Personally, I'd rather keep Theodore + 2nd and move Vatanen (who is likely gone anyway) for Brown + 1st or an equivalent package and leave LV with Wagner or Shaw to select. I suspect we'll give up something decent, but not a player as close to NHL ready as Theodore. Also, if we're giving up a top 5 prospect in the organisation (say Jones for example), then I doubt a pick is added.

Solid effort but, from a Flyers perspective, there's no way we give up the second overall pick for Mrazek. We have a wealth of young goalies and very few prospect centres. Getting the chance to pick one of Hischer or Patrick was huge for us. If we have to sign a free agent for a season or two in net to split time with Neuvirth (while calling up Stolarz when Neuvirth inevitably gets hurt) then that's the way we'll go. After the Flames dealt for Smith and with Fleury waiving his NMC it wouldn't surprise me to see Mason back (or at least I'd be less surprised than a few days ago).

Completely forgot they were picking 2nd. Switched it to 2018.
