Sliding? Seattle has 6 less points than the Leafs do. They're not selling. They'll be buying.

I think they could trade Soucy but it will have to be for more than this. Idk if they are still interested in Klingberg but they could maybe trade Soucy and acquire Klingberg, since Megna can play Soucy's minutes and is signed through next year.

I'd stay far away from Klingberg.

that's true. they haven't been as good though lately. EF reported that they may look into selling soucy though if they cant re-sign him.

Fine, they do it for Chychrun lol, but I doubt Francis will want to part with his first.

Megna+Karlsson worked well, maybe they can play Megna+Klingberg as the 3rd pairing and play them against teams bottom lines. Not sure how much Soucy will cost to resign for SEA but it could be a sneaky move by Francis especially if Klingberg costs less to acquire. If Klingberg is truly washed then they just don't resign him.

Klingberg is better at playing golf than hockey. Minus 29. Minus 28 playing for a very good Dallas team last season. Get that man a Master's green jacket. He's Tiger Woods Klingberg.

Didn't they start using him different though? There was also the contract distraction.

Sounds like Chicago should sign him to reach the cap floor next year.

Contract distraction? Dallas offered Klingberg a very fair long term deal and he told Jimmy Nill to kick rocks. He struck out in the UFA market because he overvalued himself. Stars avoided a huge mistake.

There's no excuses. Klingberg is what he is. A PP specialist who you try to hide on your 3rd D pair because he's a train wreck defensively. Minus 57 in 2 seasons says it all.

Yeah, well he listened to his agent lol. It was definitely a distraction because he felt like he wasn't getting paid. Then in FA he couldn't find the money, perhaps he waited too long. His new agent got him a decent opportunity I guess but it hasn't worked out. It is what it is at the end of the day, was a big mistake and it's probably still on his mind.

A PP specialist that can be hidden on the 3rd pair sounds like a fit to me for the Kraken. I could be wrong, but just based off the minutes that Dunn, Oleksiak, and Larsson are playing it doesn't seem like they need Klingberg to be playing 20. He doesn't have too many PPP playing with Anaheim though, so I think he could be had for cheap.

What's Klingberg's excuse this season? Too much sun? Bad team? Chinese spy balloons? Poor guy.

His excuse this season is that he doesn't have financial security, and is probably going to end up getting less than the 6m with term that he could have gotten in FA and his team can't score. Maybe too much sun. Needs another change of scenery, perhaps that Seattle rain does wonders for him. Needs
