Description

Team needs a vet on D, Adams will get something done. This team is so young and ups and downs in a season are a big part of that. Win the next 2 and get 4 out of 6 on the road trip and you're right back into it. If you can't relax, watch the Levi highlights from the Beanpot. Prospect pool is loaded, 4 picks in the top 64 of a deep draft, tons of salary space, etc. This team is setup to win and win consistently for a long time. Need a G to step up & vet or two and with some toughness. Have a #1 and #2 C locked up and two stud D's. Still on pace for 88 points, who would not have taken that at the start of the year?

I mean cozens and Thompson long term at 14 million is a bananas base to start with. This teams gonna break out even if it's next year not this one.

The last thing buffalo needs is an expensive and not even good bottom pairing guy. Edmundson was slow and bad before his back gave out, now washed is too nice a way to describe him

Recommend Savard over Edmundson. Savard has been much better this year and is a natural RD which is a weakness for Buffalo. Late 2nd won't get it done though: it starts with a late 1st.

Sabres will do diddly squat at the TDL...they've gotten creamed losing 5-1, 7-2 and 5-2 last 3 gms of a 4 game losing streak...they are 12th from the bottom and Adams is licking his chops for another top 10 pick. After the TDL he will have his presser and have a big smile on his face, we talked to teams everyday...his stock answer.

BUF should add Connor Murphy in my mind. Physical RHD perfect for pair for a young LD prospect to grow with. Like you said in the description...deep farm system. I believe there's a win/win somewhere here.

One thing you need to be able to do in Granato's system is skate, that's for sure

Buffalo needs to find D that can skate as well as play some kind of Defense. There a fast break team, atleast at this point. Players who have good first passes, get back quick, use good edge work and quick outlet pass. Benning is good with that. Ryan Johnson will be a big signing, because he does that very well. They get bogged down in there own end way to much.

Sure in theory, explain Samuelsson and Lyubushkin signings then? Also, Bryson has struggled on and off all season, mostly off. He's one of the best skaters on the team. Their PK is a mess and a big part of that is not having another physical D besides the two mentioned.
