Horvat is a pure rental for the Rangers, There's no way they're giving up Chytil for a pure rental.

And thinking that pending UFAs in Kuzmenko and Shenn get both Broberg and Edmonton's 2023 1st round pick is totally delusional.

Columbus has a greater chance of getting Connor Bedard, Than trading for Bo Horvat. And that offer is easily beaten by other teams that have the prospects.

Pens wouldn’t move Zucker and Picks for Garland, they really don’t need a RW, having Rust, Rak and Kap there rn and Carter is better there than at C, they also don’t like to play righties on the left, if they looked at a trade with Van it’d either be including Rust/Kap for Boeser or Horvat, Horvat pushes Carter or Malkin to wing and could play LW if needed since they’ve been using McGinn on the third when he should be on the 4th, Garland is a fine player but he doesn’t fit in for them.

I believe EDM makes that deal, perhaps VAN needs to include a pick going the other way. But Schenn would solidify their right side and Kuzmenko is an absolute stud who would rake playing with Draisatl. Kuz has been nearly a pt/game despite not playing PP1.
I suspect a lot of folks in here have not watched him.

The Jackets aren't going for rentals either; we're more likely to try pursuing Horvat in free agency than we are likely to trade for him.
