no that’s true, but is that a product of his environment? Put him on a line with Ovy he’s probably looking to create more. If it doesn’t work he can run the 2nd line

they don’t need another 30+ player especially starting an 8x8 next year. They could sign Horvat to 7.5M AAV and squeeze in Backstrom next year. Just need to spend a bit less in other places that are expiring

I wouldn’t be giving that to him. My max would be 7.5 but someone will go north of 8 I’m sure.
