VAN fans have been trying to move Myers to the Sabres for like 9 months now
The answer still isn’t changed- it’s a “NO”
And there’s no chance in he’ll we’d give u a 2nd for him if we were interested- that’s bananas

Snicker….no.

Sadly as bad as that is it’s the most realistic of the bunch.

I would gladly take Tyler Myers back. The team needs veteran defenseman depth and Myers can do that.

He’s not playing a #1 or top pair role here. Toss Myers on the second pair or the bottom pair easily. He’s much much much better than Bryson any day. The only problem I see where does he fit in the bottom four

Probably more for a third though because of the salary and limited amount of teams who can take him due to that and no trade protection.

Bryson plays LD
Myers plays RD

So unless u think Myers is an upgrade over Lyubushkin or Jokiharju, then he doesn’t make sense

I’m surprised u like Myers anyways…. he’s not gritty at all 🤣🤣

No what I’m saying is, I think Myers even at this stage of his career is significantly better than Bryson. But that’s the problem. He’s a right D, and Bryson is LD, So the fit would be tough.

But sure, I would gladly take Myers on, but it’s not a guy I’d pay a ton to Get. In fact offering draft pick would be generous. You can probably have him for future considerations due to his salary and NTC.

So your only option would be to use him on the second or third pair RD and move Jokiharju or Lybushkin to the left side which would instantly upgrade the left side bottom pair over Bryson. I think both could play the left side.

Myers would cost nothing. Sure why not take him on. He’s NOT worth a second though, even with retention. Probably not even a third

And I like him because honestly, there’s not many options out there to upgrade a D where you are not paying a ton of capital or prospects.

What makes u think either Lyubushkin or Jokiharju can play the left side ?
I don’t wanna say they’ve never done it, but it is pretty rare for a RH guy to play the left side

Makes a lot more sense to me to just find a LH shot if the goal is to upgrade from Bryson

Wow, I really wonder the thoughts of people when they propose deals. In what world would the isles even pick on the phone for this?
