Description

I don't think it will happen, but figured I would see what it might look like using some players rumored (Lindell and prospects) that would be part of the deal. Obviously, have to deal Dobby somewhere and make a couple other moves to fill out the roster and fix the cap. What do you think of the trade? Too much, too little?

Yeah no. Robertson won’t be moved. No team is giving up a player of that caliber when Calgary has no leverage - they have to trade Tkachuk

I don’t see us as a fit to be honest. I feel like the smart move is to keep building up prospects for when Benn, Lindell, Faksa, and Suter are gone. I don’t see Calgary going for our package compared to what other teams would be willing to move for him anyways

Also this is likely not a popular opinion, but I think losing Esa would hurt more than people realize. You’re also selling low on Esa and Guri, who I could easily see having much better years under a proper coach

I agree. I'm excited about what we have in the pipeline and I would hate to give up a bunch of them for one player, plus all the cap gymnastics we would have to play. Except for signing RFA's and doing something with Dobby, I think we are done.
