Why this makes sense for the leafs:

1. Bring in Domi who will be back before Christmas. He can play on the wing in the top 6 if you need, but also gives you more Centre Depth.
2. He plays a style of game that Toronto is lacking. With obvious ties to Toronto, seems like a natural fit at a reduced cost.
3. If his shoulder injury hampers him longer than expected, could utilize LTIR and bring in somebody to replace his minutes.

Why this makes sense for Columbus:

1. With CBJ willing to lose him for nothing to Seattle, I wonder what his value is with the team. He has been open that he would like to be moved.
2. A 3rd round pick here is the main part of the trade. Not sure if this is acceptable value, but with CBJ taking on half salary for this season, to me it seemed fitting.
2. Engvall just helps balance the books for Toronto a bit and gives Columbus a guy they can plug in and play during this year when they will be reubiilding (tanking)
