kronwall isnt right handed. lmao you traded for a RD who is left handed. He also can barely move on the ice and makes thid defense even more ugly then it already is.

Its an okay trade actually. I'm pretty sure It would be okay considering it's only a year. The Leafs get rid of a non-roster player. In my opinion, Carl Grundstrom can come up and play RW 4th line instead of Ennis.

this doesnt make the leafs better it just gives up an asset and takes a roster spot on D. kronwall isnt good anymore.

Well if it comes down to whether I’d play Kronwall or Carrick, I’m choosing Kronwall for a few reasons. He has the veteran experience, he’s won in the playoffs and he could add grit that was left by Polak leaving.

Kronwall had 27 pts on a red wings team that cant score goals(which would be good for third highest point total for current leafs dmen), Deal would be good for detroit to clear cap and allow younger players playing time and could be little risk high reward for the leafs(I would move kronner for draft pick alone)
