Mackenzie Entwistle seems like a sold prospect - big kid.. 2017 3rd round pick...
Hate to see Hinostroza go but the Hawks get 8.5 mill in cap space, Kruger - 3 prospects and a 5th....
I don't know how the heck someone could say Arizona won this deal - seems pretty fair to me..... Like I said, hate to see Hinostroza go (he was part of the future) BUT the Hawks actually got better with this trade...
The Hawks will have a TON of cap space next summer...
I say its a fair deal because the hawks get rid of hossa's contract, takes on kruger on a bad deal but only one more year of that, he will take time off of toew's pk time, and helps the hawks a lot starting 2019-2020 not including any moves bowman makes in the near future. Arizona gets two good prospects in vinny and oesterle to make them a little bit better right away while dumping kruger off. good move for both sides.
Coyotes got much better and the Blackhawks finally have Cap Space. Now if Stan Bowman would be able to keep his head out of his backside and not make anymore terrible OVERPAID contracts (too many to list) then they will get back into the swing of things.
To everyone saying "now the Hawks have cap space" you haven't been paying much attention or don't understand how LTIR works. The Blackhawks actually now have less cap space after this trade. This trade is absolutely bonkers.
The Hawks are interested in Pacioretty, the Habs need centers and the Hawks have one in Anisimov, so I'm expecting that deal within the next couple of days, perhaps today. It's already in the rumor mill... And in a deal where those are the main two pieces, the salary offsets itself which means the Hawks would still have 8.5 million left to spend to fix-up their defense.....
But the best part is that if the Hawks do acquire Pacioretty - they'll have more than enough to sign Panarin, DeBrincat & Schmatlz long-term - and IMO, I'm positive that was Bowman's plan all along....
It's going to be a very interesting next few days for the Hawks (and the league).....
But yea, Anisimov for Pacioretty - you can bet on that...

LOL......
The Hawks have 8.5 million in cap space (they got about 5M more in that trade)... I don't know what planet you're on...... You obviously have no idea what LTIR even is because it's not the Hawks problem anymore..

I've tried to explain this to you in the past. You're not worth responding to anymore. Go ahead and live in your own little world.
I could care less what they add, it wouldn't take much more... Perhaps a 2nd..
The rumors are already out there, Chicago and Montreal have a good relationship, Habs need a center Hawks need a left winger - Patches wants nothing to do with Montreal..... Makes too much sense.
Patches is a UFA.... The acquisition of Patches would open the door for Bowman to sign Panarin, Schmaltz & DeBrincat to long-term deals next summer..
Can you explain it to me? I don't see how they have less room now, but I don't know all the rules of LTIR.
Hossa's can be placed on LTIR and the Hawks can use his entire cap hit over the cap ceiling. There are a lot more details to it but that's basically the point.
