Minnesota isn't trading Rossi for a contract dump in Fabbri whose not good, a 4th liner / fighter in Michael Rassmussen and a 2026 1st round pick. Wild will not take on another team's bad contract even if you retain on Fabbri who has no value.

Yeah who wants a player who scored 18 goals in 68 games? 🙄

No value.

This is not a good trade from Minnesota's perspective, but if you have no idea what you're talking about on certain players, don't pretend you do... Rasmussen is not a 4th line fighter... and Fabbri is not a cap dump, despite how many Red Wings fans want him traded. He's a half point per game, middle six winger, which absolutely has value in the NHL. He's on a reasonable contract, and if Yzerman is willing to eat half his salary (he wouldn't need to), that's a very good asset.

This offer is terrible for Minnesota. Not even debatable.

Not good for Minnesota, but as a Wings fan, I wouldn't do it either. The Wings don't need another undersized top six forward. In my opinion, both teams say no.

How you would describe Michael Rasmussen if you've never watched Michael Rasmussen.
