    No chance the Ducks trade McTavish for one year of Marner. And the Hawks only take Tavares for free after 7/1 once his signing bonus is paid.

    No chance the Ducks trade McTavish and his entire career for one year of Marner, during which they won't contend for the playoffs. How many games do you think that Marner would add to Anaheim's win total? Because the Ducks missed the playoffs this year by TWENTY GAMES.

    I’d take Marner > Tavares and Hawks have plenty of trade chips. Could do Reichel + prospect already cooking + your 1st rounder in 2025 back? That would be after July 1 and a guarantee he’ll resign 8/$80ish
