Some internet rando made a prediction that Grier was going to load up on UFA's and try for the playoffs this coming season. After mocking him I just threw this together to see if I could make a team with a legit run at the playoffs. His brilliant idea included trading way a bunch of just prospects that are just now hitting NHL caliber like Bordeleau, Guschin and even Eklund. I left Bords out but didn't move the other 2. I don't honestly think that Reinhart or Stamkos are coming to SJ. Definitely not Stamkos. I think Reinhart would but for way longer term and way more money than what I have here.
