Best we can do is Raty + picks. Think Horvat return. I get if that's not enough but if so then VAN can't pay

Canucks aren't trading Lekkerimaki, even if it is a 1 for 1 deal, you can have Raty, Bains, a D prospect, our 2025 1st and an extra pick if you take Mikheyev. Otherwise we're more than happy to pay half that for Toffoli.

Vancouver's prospect pool is too thin to be getting rid of Lekkerimaki. With that said, going off value alone, I think PIT could get way more than that. I like Lekkerimaki a lot but I don't think he's a blue chip prospect. There's a reason guys like him and Eiserman drop, a one-dimensional player poses a big risk if that strength doesn't translate to the NHL

The only way I can see Leks being dealt for Guentzel is if two other things occur;

1) Guentzel comes with an extension, and
2) PIT also takes back Mikheyev to make the extension fit for VAN (assuming additional compensation for that for the Pens)

JR doesn't care about your prospect pool or draft picks.
He see's your limited window and says now or never.
Just like he did in CAR, Just like he did in PIT, and now he'll do the same thing in VAN.

He will resign Jake, because that's best for the window now.
He's got the cap to do it and he's building the roster he wants.... which is a lot of PIT west.
