Hawks will not have cap space next season. They need to unload at least one contract. Crawford is an option as Darling has proven to be a capable starter. Thoughts?

So much depends on Crawford's NTC/NMC. There might only be a couple of teams that he will agree to be traded and only a couple that have space for him on the roster. If the Hawks are lucky enough to find a match, maybe the trade is a third rounder. The Hawks may have no choice.

Maybe they expose him, I dont see why a new franchise would not to take a goalie they can build around

It is the wrong time to trade for a goalie and frankly....crow has proven himself. Just let darling go in the off season. Would I like to get something in return...sure, but it wouldn't be enough to not have a backup in the playoffs.
