    Interesting stuff, but that Fowler trade isnt close. Burmi and Chariot are scrap parts. petans ceiling is simliar to Perrault which isnt that high end.

    (Sorry for the double post) Agree with CL8771, plus I would add that if they traded for RNH they should avoid the Chicago trade as well. Shaw's a good player, but paying losing prospects and paying a 4th line C 4 million isn't a good idea. If the Jets decided to start throwing around money I would look at doing the first two trades you suggested then take a swing at signing Keith Yandle to play alongside Buff. The Jets would have a devastating power play.

    Shaw won't cost 4 million in RFA. 3M is probably more accurate. Maybe even 2.75M. That being said, if you were signing him, it shouldn't be to center the 4th line. He's a 3C or 2/3W.

    and I can't see Comrie AND Armia for the rights to shaw. I can't see Comrie being included on any deals!
