OFFSEASON
Lindholm will get 2MM more in a market: 4.5MM -> 6.5MM and 6 years instead of 4
Zadorov will get 2MM more in a market: 2MM -> 4MM and 4 years instead of 2
Pesce will get at least 6MM in a market, likely 7MM and 7 years
Lafferty will get 2MM in a market for 3 years
Hronek would not sign 6MM, he had a solid 8MM season

If COL wants to deal him, TOR would make sense, as well as a possible reunion with NJD imo.</div></div>
I agree. I would also keep him if Landeskog does not come back

Personally, I think that Sullivan should be fired. He had a good enough roster to get to playoff this year. And Pens should start rebuilding with giving top 9 spot to Poulin but they would not do it.

yep, and move him later for the 4th or 5th round. This still can be a good deal for Colorado.

Olausson is more Sullivan sort of player for the bottom line. I don't think that Poulin gets any good future with Pens while Sullivan is still a head coach.

Wood is a solid 3rd liner, who plays well so far in play off. Teams like Pens, Toronto, Islanders gonna need this player to the bottom lines

Pens should face the obvious - it's time to rebuild. They can do it the same way as Washington by playing prospects next to the old stars. Eller is not really needed for Pens

Thank you for the post! That was a great job!
About Pens in short - we suck…
But there is one more positive moment. Goalies line is good long term. And if we finish at the current position, we will have a top 10 peak this year.

one last run all in this year and no future
These all trades are bad for the future:
minus Pickering, Yager, 2 1st and 1 2nd rounds for 2 players that will leave the team next summer. Same thing for Chychrun, who will leave in 2 years.
So, 2024 summer, no playoff, no peaks, no future at all.
In 2026, Ottawa will get first peak when Pens go to the very bottom :)

I agree but I don't get why management does not see the obvious. The team is old and slow with a limited prospects list. Yager, Pickering, Murashov, Blomqvist,...maybe Pieniniemi and Ilyin. That's it. There will be no rebuilding without prospects.
