Sounds like Edvinsson is skating and apparently could be ready for the season opener, although I don’t see how he doesn’t start in GR unless his play forces another move.</div></div>
I 100% agree! The contracts they've given to these Dmen really show that it'll be difficult for him to crack the lineup anytime soon.

If they don't acquire Pesce than yeah he's on second pair, but he doesn't fit well paired with Pesce if they got him on the second pair, and I think Harley ready earned more minutes after the playoffs!

Blue Jackets Finished
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dk325</b></div><div>If either of Peeke or Boqvist is going to play 1RD I'd assume it's going to be Boqvist.
Bemstrom would not get into the lineup over Olivier, Danforth, or probably even Voronkov. He simply does not have what it takes to be a bottom 6 guy and he's not good enough to be a top 6 guy. Voronkov also has an escape clause to return to the KHL if he's not playing in the NHL by December so he's likely going to get into the lineup quickly. Could see him getting the 3C spot over Sillinger who is still waiver exempt.
Texier probably looks better on the 4th line with ERob and Kuraly. He really clicked with those guys before everything off the ice happened. This would also open up a 3rd line spot for Chinakhov who was looking solid in that role last year before his high ankle sprain that essentially ended his season.
I'm hopeful that the Laine center experiment continues. If they can afford to play Boone on the 3rd line to give Sillinger a solid veteran linemate then I think he's set up for a better season. Rosie in a top 6 wing role might get them some good results.</div></div>
I appreciate the input! I completely forgot about Voronkov! He def gets a shot on the 3rd line so yeah I moved Texier down to give him a chance to readjust to the NHL. But I defiantly think Peeke has the edge over Boqvist for the RD1 spot, just find he complements Werenski more.

If i were in the canes position, i wouldn't trade Pesce unless a team grossly overpaid for him.</div></div>
I could see them wanting that first tho, so they can flip it for another asset, maybe more scoring, I agree with what you're saying tho, I wouldn't trade him, I only did cuz it seems like the most likely scenario.

I def don’t think he’s worth Harley and a first like most Canes fans think he is, but with an extension (I heard he’s looking for a decent amount more money than that) I don’t think a first and one of Kyrou/Bourque is unreasonable. I’d prefer they took a salary tho. Marchment or Hakanpaa and Faksa. Which might be the deal breaker tbh</div></div>
I can't see Marchment going, I'd say they'd want to see if he bounces back a bit more before they move him, Hakanpaa makes alot of sense to go, but yeah, I'll give you Kyrou for sure, sounds about right, Bourque still has more value that they wanna see in the NHL first.

Personally no, but I could see the flames starting him there if they plan to have Markstrom as the number one, put wolf in the A so he can be a starter rather than sit on the bench most of the season but if they want to try a 1A - 1B tandem, than wolf comes up and UPL is waived or flipped

Yeah I Agree, I more so did that because it's the only way the trade with Buf made sense. It would be a battle for the back up spot, and it would give Wolf a chance to get a bunch of starts in the AHL to at least start the year. Plus it made more sense to take UPL than Comrie from Buf cuz that would leave them with Valdar, Levi & UPL.

4th line I think carcone - mcbain - kerfoot/boyd/guenther
agree on bottom pair which 2 earn the spot of those 4 (unless soda really improves he can start in AHL top pair get more ice).
dont see cooley on PP1 - hayton already comfortable w kell/schm and crouse and guenther switch PP1
its finally nice to have a full roster of NHL talent</div></div>
I can't see Guenther on the fourth line, I'd say 3rd line minimum maybe swap Crouse in for him, I say they throw Cooley rightt in, he has shown the talent that they have to see how he reacts to those situations early in the season.

Do you think a guy over there season which averaged 70 games for TB. Has averaged missing 1game a year 22goals 25 assists and is a top pk guy making less than 4.5 mil for the right to pay the uninsured portion of Littles contract makes sense that's absolutely mind boggling. He has had his post productive years of his career but not only give him away but add picks and basically write AZ a check to cover Little reallyales sense?
Prorated over 82 games Killorn has averaged 26 goals 36 assists for 62 pts and is a top PK guy.
Please do not give me his subpar 23 games he was most likely playing hurts as why that's a good idea.</div></div>
relax dude, its just an idea I saw floating around that could make sense, only reason I kept Myers up is because Your Gm said they are going to use him so idk

once Cirelli comes back they are going to need the space to play him, Kilhorn is the obvious move, I know it sucks cuz he's such a heart and soul guy. but with the extra space from getting little and putting him on LTIR, gives you the room to sign ZAR who would fit the system perfectly

Nothing ?? you get Necas who is young and still has alot of potential especially in the scoring side, Bear who is a young puck moving dman, plus you can flip fast at the deadline and you get picks, for a guy who doesn't want to be there, don't see how that's "nothing"

Dubas waited way to long and was out bid for the guys the leafs could have used.</div></div>
I completely agree Muzzin should be the one to go, but it seems like at this point they value his leadership probably more then his play on the ice, think the trades are pretty accurate for what they'd have to take tho?
