Yeah. It's basically a dream team. Probably will be the best roster of the entire Olympic hockey games. Specially in the offense. The "weakest" position of the team is their goalies. And it's still insane how good it is.

(BUF/VGK) - Eichel, 2023 3rd for Krebs, Tuch, 2022 1st, 2023 2nd
The biggest loser in this trade is not Buffalo or Vegas. The biggest losers are Tuck and Krebs, for sure. The first is a very good underrated player which always gives 100% when he's on the ice. The other have a great upside to become an elite player. Both don't deserve to play for a franchise like Buffalo. Poor guys.

Carolina deserves a "yes" just because of the trolling here. Now Montreal is in a pretty bad situation and they need to overpay Kotkaniemi to avoid lose him. Good luck with that. Lol

Another steal contract in Carolina, alongside Slavin and Pesce. After all the mess in their goalie situation, I can see this move as a relief for Carolina's fans.

It's just an ok contract. As I just said, not one of the worst contracts, but definitely not one of the best either.

A good AAV, but a bad term. I can see this contract as a bad one in something about it's last 3 years. Not one of the worst contracts, but definitely not one of the best either.

Pittsburgh Penguins signed Zach Aston-Reese (1 Year / $1,725,000 AAV)
I see what's going on here. Next season Pens will have TO PAY RUST to keep him and they'll must re-sign Malkin and Letang. So, they'll be our priority. We will need cap space to do so. That's why I agree 100% with this 1 year deal with Aston Reese.

Obviously they tried to offer him more term. But he probably deny it, cause he knows he can earn more money after this contract. The contract for Detroit is good, but for Bertuzzi is way better, if he reaches his upside.

I'm pretty surprised. I really thought that Bertuzzi would be traded. It seems like no team offered what Detroit asked for him. But I agree with Yzerman's decision. I think Bertuzzi can improve his value even more, in the next 2 years.

New York Rangers signed Ryan Reaves (1 Year / $1,750,000 AAV)
I really like enforcers and I think they are underrated in hockey, nowadays. But I think Reaves should get a bit less than that. 1M or 1.25M would be enough to a player like him. But fans should recognize better their value to any team. Specially in playoffs and rivalry games. Their physicality can help the team to gain some momentum in tough games and they still can protect their team superstars.
Ask for Gretzky, Lemieux and so many other superstars how important enforcers were to their career.
Maybe the millennials can't understand what I mean, but the traditional hockey fans surely can.

Very good sign, specially because of the AAV. He's Hoffman replacement and he can play even better. I wish Pens could sign him. But I knew it'd be impossible, because of the salary cap issues.

Well, so there're some "if" that make the GMs not so smart, indeed, to spend a lot of money like that. We'll see what's gonna happen...

Colorado get FLEECED here. More than I predicted. Kuemper is a very good goalie, indeed. But he has just one year left in his contract and Colorado paid a HUGE PRICE to get him. If anyone thinks this is a W for Colorado, this one is completely OUT OF HIS MIND. Arizona staff and fans are LAUGHING OUT LOUD, after this trade.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Wqrrior</b></div><div>Regardless, Kahkonen was always the better of those two exposed goalies and Dillon is better than Soucy. The plan doesn't matter, they picked the two lesser value options and now get the lesser value trade.</div></div>
I can't deny it. I would pick Kahkonen as well. To me, that's a mistake from Ron Francis. He made a lot of mistakes. But one thing is for sure in this situation: THE GREAT LOSER IS COLORADO. Sakic thought that Landeskog was more important than Grabauer (goalies like Grub can win cups, even without a player like Landeskog. We cannot tell the same about quite the opposite), then Grubauer say him a GOODBYE. And now, Colorado has no real good option to be their starting goalie, unless for a trade (that probably will cost them a high price).

This continues to be a rough start for the Kraken.</div></div>
It's easy to say it right now, after Seattle sign Grubauer. But who could know that they would sign a top goalie like him? It's something that happened after today's negotiation. The fact is: Seattle wanted to guarantee 2 good goalies in their roster. This is what they did. I can't see it as a mistake.

I can hear all the Colorado fans crying at this moment. Many of them despised him and now they're in a tough situation in goalie position. Sakic thinks Landeskog was more important than a great goalie. Now HE PAYS THE PRICE of his bad choice. As I said: NO good goalie = NO cup.
