Bruins 2023-24
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>tryger</b></div><div>Doesn't seem realistic, Moore was a 30 goal-scorer for LA last season, and has gelled incredibly well with Danault who is already losing Arvidsson (unless he takes a discount).
Ullmark to LA has been discussed to death, but really it boils down to the fact would the Bruins wait for LA to sign Byfield, address reupping or replacing Roy, and LA trying to get the best UFA goaltender signed once the free agency starts.</div></div>
I get that but this is a very weak goaltending free agency class. Seems like the right time to make a move for a goalie.

SL 24-25 2
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hawksguy81</b></div><div>That's only slightly better than the original trade. Hawks would probably spend a 3rd at most for Lilypad. Robertson isn't a player the Hawks would have much if any interest in. Too small. Too injury prone. At best, he's a throw in as part of a larger trade. If the Leafs are looking for a 1st back for those two, Leafs need to find a different team.</div></div>
Fair enough, it's not a trade the leafs really need to make just a way to recoup some of their draft picks.

Jost, and what ufa's would you think would fit better and i don't know if playing Kulich at 4c would be very good for his development.</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>EccE</b></div><div>Wild decline. What you have here is six years of Boldy at 7 million, a potential starting goalie and a 2nd round pick for one year of Marner at 10 million and a pile of stuff.</div></div>
Would you trade marner for boldy straight up? I don't see the wild's use for Gustavsonn, they signed fleury's extension and wallstead is ready to be in the nhl. So i'd say Gustavsonn and a second for liligjren and a third is pretty close in value. With more ice time and a different system lilijgren could be a potential breakout canidate to be a true top 4 dman.

We have Sharangovich, Kuzmenko, Mangiapane, and Coleman, as guys we'd need to trade before considering such a trade.
Wingers I expect to play for the Flames in the top 9 next season: Huberdeau, Pospisil, Zary(unless he moves to C),Coronato, and maybe Pelletier.</div></div> That is fair, if some of those things happen I could maybe see the trade going through.

Don't think you'd have to pay someone to take on Kampf lol. He's a good defensive centre that will put up 20-25 points a year. His deal isn't great, but don't forget your 4th line centre can't stay healthy and make 2 million. Who puts up the same amount of points and is terrible at faceoffs.

I changed the trade, maybe the last one wasn't great lol. I think the new one could be possible though. Chicago gets two younger players that could potentially breakout and the pick is Toronto's so will likely fall in the 20th-28th range.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>palhal</b></div><div>Despite trading 11m Marner without taking $$$ back, still an impractical 21 roster. How Pens Marner and why would they give up so much for a rental?[/qIt If this were to happen there would most likely have to be an extension in place, so it wouldn't be a rental. Marner would be more likely to waive his clause to go to a team that is in contention. Also, Dubas would be more willing to make a deal for Marner because he is familiar with him and isn't shy to make big deals. Leafs could take some money back in this deal, however the cap is going up to 87.7 million this year, so pens could make it work. I think a good prospect, 1st and 2nd pick is a fair deal for a 100 point ish player. I think that the veterans in Pittsburgh could get more out of marner in the playoffs as well.</div></div>

C Ya Tavares
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>Canes pass. A retained Tavares isn't something I'd be against. At the cost of Pesce though, yeah, you're stuck with Tavares. Hirvonen and Neimela don't move the needle for Pesce and I'd rather have Pesce at 4 than Tavares at 8.5 for another several years.</div></div>
I just did this more for fun, I realize that Carolina likely wouldn’t except the trade and Tavares wouldn’t waive his NMC. However, with 2.5M retained Tavares would have a cap hit around 8.5M. In my opinion, Tavares still have value at 8.5Mx2 years because he’s still a point per game player that would provide leadership too. But Pesce is a very valuable piece and Carolina would likely not accept the trade.
