I think both teams accept. I think this was by far the best trade so fat for Holtz. Works for both sides. Well done NHLfan10506!

You're asking way too much from montreal and somehow you didn't even trade him for a player to improve your team next season which is the most pressing issue for the devils

No chance does Montreal do that, we'll give you WPGs 1st and you keep Kuzmenko.

To get the habs 5th overal pick ypu are giving 9th , the vancouver 1st, the 2 2nds this year and taking on josh anderson.
We dont want coronato or kuzmenko.

Holtz Glass Dellandrea

This is my fault, I should clarify. I'm not saying I think the trade sucks and so we'd say no. Mike Heika and a couple other reporters who cover the Stars have said that Jim Nill loves Dellandrea. It's come up a couple times when trades and things are discussed. It's always seemed to be clear to me that the message from the front office is they're not interesting in dumping Delly.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OldNYIfan</b></div><div>Why the sudden craze in Montreal ACGMs to send 26-year-old Michael Pezzetta to Los Angeles? This is the fourth such post I've seen in the past 24 hours. We have more than enough bottom-6 forward prospects three to six years younger whom we can promote from within.</div></div>
I seen one LA post where the guy trade Kaleyiv and a pick for Pezzetta and I assume people are just running with it now.
I don't see MTL trading Pezzetta. He's a team first 14th forward that will never complain about his role.

Pezzetta, obviously, he goes for a 1st plus. He has better 5on5 stats than Dubois.

Keep Guentzel and Trade Necas
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ht42</b></div><div>Montreal will likely gonna make the Offer Sheet threat during the trade negociations if Carolina aren't able to grow down their trading price.
They did something like that to convince Allen to open his NMC for NJ, with sending him on waivers or buyout his contract this summer.</div></div>
MTL aren’t desperate for Necas, our picks are more important because they could end up very low. Kent Hughes said not this offseason but the next one will be a very important/active one. A lot of 2025 picks, a lot of contracts expiring (Dvorak, Armia, Evans, Savard, Kovacevic). I think he will make a trade this offseason but I don’t think it’s gonna be for a young top 6 forward (Zegras, Necas, etc.).

Onlyif it's a sign and trade, maybe but i would be tempted for an offer sheet at this price...
And the Canes have a lot of young guns coming. Farrell and Ylonen won't crack the team... No needs.

Keep Guentzel and Trade Necas
The two first is too much for Necas, he's not worth that - and the players would be of no interest to the Canes. I'm sure Harris is a capable LD, I'd rather pair a more veteran defender with Morrow while he gets adjusted to the pro game. I'm also not sure why the choices are keep Guentzel or trade Necas, when you can let turbo walk and keep the younger more dynamic player. Or bridge Jarvis, see if Guentzel takes less, and try to keep all 3.

If Chicago calls up and offers Bedard, then ok. Short of that, Byfield isn't going anywhere.

If the trade included our "spare parts" like Barron, Harris, ect, and a couple of alright picks (late 1sts and 2nds), then ya, we should definitely consider it, but I do think it would require a premium asset, which may not be in the best interest looking at our timeline.

Matheson, Guhle, Hutson, Xhekaj(RFA), Struble, Harris. LHD Harris will be moved.
Savard, Mailloux, Kovacevic, Reinbacher(AHL next year), Barron(RFA). Barron will moved.
Montreal just has to many Defense. They may want to flip for forwards or draft picks. Like they did for Dach(moved Romanov out).
