Wut?..... wth did I just read? lol A bunch of incoherent nonsense.
What does Calgary and Vancouver trades have to do with a proposed top 10 draft trade?!
The irony of your comments of being blocked by everyone is hilarious...see ya!

No mather how piss off buffalo fan are this would be the cost. Value wise this trade is pin point i would say. Quinn haven’t established himself already but might have a higher ceiling then Peterka. Buffalo prospect pool are deep but they don’t have any Blue chip defender, so this make sense no mather what. Been over 10 seasons of missing playoff, maybe keeping all their prospect and developing is not the way to do thing. But i guess everyone won’t ever agree on trade proposition around here. I think you did a good job with understanding value and need for both team. Buffalo fan can continue to believe they have a good defender group but a team that ain’t the case.</div></div>
Quinn is not a prospect. Why would the Sabres trade top six forwards for more prospects???????

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Shibbal18</b></div><div>Buffalo would decline at Quinn. Theyd decline at probably 80% of the prospects you'd want. The Sabres have no need to do this. They have a full top 4 and a solid RD prospect developing. They can take a RD at 11 if they want and take their time developing that guy. The idea is nonsensical for Buffalo</div></div>
Agreed. MTL and BUF just aren't good trading partners. Unless it's a straight up hockey trade ("equivalent" player swap), there's really no point. MTL would probably prefer whoever is at #5 overall than then a package of lesser players (relative term here, they would still be blue chip prospects). Habs need star players more than anything else, their prospect cupboard is also full.

LMAO I'm a Canucks fan, calling someone a troll because you cant think critically isn't my fault. Look inwards.</div></div>
You failed to quote my actual comment about this trade idea but I'm assuming that was a mistake.
You answered shibbal with a stupid comment and then edited it. You are the one that isn't thinking critically.
The Sabres have no use for trading a player who is already in their top 6 for futures. You say they have a lot of prospects, why not target them, although I still don't think moving up from 11 to 6 will make that much of a difference in this draft.

You have far too many forwards to sign the next 2-3 years. Kulich, Savoie and Ostlund all will be top9 sooner than later. Someone has to go!</div></div>
Quinn is better than all of them

I think Quinn and the 11th OVR would force KH to consider.</div></div>
He wouldn't have to consider since this would never be offered.
Why would the Sabres make this trade with a young top 6 roster forward

Skinner will play in the top9
And if that means he gets yelled at by Ruff a little bit,
that’s not the end of the world
Not the first time a tough coach yelled at Skinner
And not the first time Ruff has yelled at someone
You’re really overthinking this A LOT imo
Ruff has coached plenty of guys before who didn’t play defense, or were “lazy” and they still were plenty productive on good teams
Satan, Vanek & Afinogenov all immediately come to mind

Offseason Rossi Trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Danny_MrGM_Briere</b></div><div>Is he that good? Will he be better than a middle 6 player? Laughton can play up and down the lineup and I think the sabres might want the leadership and mentality that he brings for all of the young players. A 4th rounder on top of that too. But again I could be ignorant to how good Ostlund really is because I don't know much about him.</div></div>
the only lineup versatility laughton has had this year is being able to play all 3 forward positions. he hasn't been able to play above a 3rd line level for an extended period of time other than the week before the deadline. since then he's been a 4th liner at best
ostlund has top 6 potential - low end 1st line, good 2nd liner more than likely
