<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Celtics21</b></div><div>That’s actually my preferred third line.
With some nominal cap added, you are essentially replacing Ullmark, Forbort, and Gryzlcyk with Lindholm, Chychrun, and a ~$1M goaltender (I think Bussi)
The forward added is going to depend on your (and their) preference between DeBrusk, Bertuzzi, Toffoli, Terravainen, Marchessault, or Stephenson among others
This FA class looks pretty deep at forward
One of the strikes against Chychrun instead of a pick is he might force a difficult decision between him and Frederic at the end of the year depending on how they handle Marchand’s contract</div></div>
Honestly my approach to acquiring Chychrun would be to see who plays better between him and Lohrei and then choose one to extend
If they can get Chychrun for Ullmark straight up or even with a late round pick attached then it makes it more palatable to let him walk in FA if Lohrei really outshines him

I like Beecher, but he shouldn’t be able to keep Lysell out of the lineup if he’s showing well</div></div>
That’s fair if they can sign all the guys they want without having to trade Geekie it’s a home run

His finishing is brutal but I wouldn’t mind putting him and Freddy on Poitras wings to open up more space

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>beantownboy17</b></div><div>Make the team older: good plan. Geekie is such a great deal and player, there's zero reason to trade him. I would honestly rather trade Freddy than him. Don't need Stolarz, he and Bussi would play the exact same role. Marchessault is great but too old and likely gets more. Lindholm scares me, but I'm guessing we'll wind up with him, I'm just hoping it's only 4 years. Also a full season of Maroon does not excite me.</div></div>
Bussi is still a question mark in the big leagues but I’d be comfortable starting the season with Swayman+Bussi and then you could always bring in a veteran backup later on

Sweeney might be able to get a 3rd for Geekie but if Poitras is going to be a regular in the lineup and we sign Lindholm then I don’t see where Geekie fits in the team
He’s much better at center than wing and he isn’t beating out Lindholm Coyle or Zacha for any of the Top 6 C spots and it would be criminal to interrupt Poitras development just to accommodate Geekie
I ultimately don’t think he’ll be traded but the team needs more scorers and Geekie shouldn’t be taking away that roster spot from a young skill player like Poitras Lysell or even Merkulov

top 6 or minors poitras
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bruins_Guy613</b></div><div>Agreed, i just figure they'll want to probably ease Lysell into the NHL and top 6 might be a lot for him and for some reason i don't see them putting Poitras and Lysell on a line together. not saying they shouldn't just doesn't seem to be Montys MO. I think Poitras needs to really pop in camp or they could send him to Providence for the start of the year to get reps and up to speed and then try and get him back in the lineup.</div></div>
I’m very curious to see where they play Lysell assuming he makes the team out of camp
I could see him on the third line but I’d like to see him playing with Pasta or Marchand

People think Necas is a Top 6 C but he doesn't win face-offs and Carolina who needs a 2C is likely looking to move him on
I'm not opposed to trading for him but I don't think he can be a Top 6 C in the Bruins system
As a winger he would definitely be a productive scorer on Pastas left wing but it feels like the asking price will be too high

You'd rather get a late 1st, a 4th liner, a poor prospect, a 4 and a 5 than what I offered? Really?</div></div>
If I'm Briere my first counter offer would be Konecny for a 1st + Savoie or Kulich

I'm just saying that's your trade comparable. A middle pair D, first round prospect having a really solid year in the AHL and an early 2nd this year? That's substantially more.</div></div>
Philly has no reason to move him nor should they I personally see TK getting extended but if Briere wanted to move him someone would offer a deal similar to Toffoli to Calgary in 2022

Moving Hronek
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Celtics21</b></div><div>So basically send him to Boston pre free agency to lock in the salary slot so they can do other things. It’s a different strategy than what happened with Severson because Columbus added the 8th year to make it more attractive to him. Dont see Boston doing that.
Could see a marginal pick or a minimum player like Lauko, but it is unprecedented and by that time, Boston should know if he’s coming or not,</div></div>
I think the main purpose of trading for his rights ahead of free agency would be to get him signed before he hits the market so that other teams are entirely out of the picture
