well then don't trade for him. If we can move him elsewhere for a better return we will. Its no deal

Ahhhh. That exciting Babs hockey. Miss those days of being outshot 40-20 every game. Icing the puck 30 times. Great hockey….

Nice that you made Lauzon the 7th Dman (where he belongs) and it cost the Leafs Amirov (or a first) and the good cost efficient Engvall. Ritchie and second for nothing is about right.

I could be wrong, there's that one devils fan on here who think Severson (50% retained) will cost Neimela, Knies and a first round pick. But that's just my thoughts.

Solving the Scoring Problem Forsberg Style
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PleaseBanMeForMyOwnGood</b></div><div>LA is in the bottom half of the league in points percentage. They are a below average team. Walker has Doughty and Roy ahead of him and Durzi's been half decent as well. If he was 24, then maybe someone takes a flyer on him but he's 27 with two full season under his belt on a non playoff team. (Last 2 seasons) Fans on here need to realize that being a depth guy on below average teams likely make most players bubble players on good teams. Just like how bubble players on good teams can find homes on worse teams. A 2nd has the potential to be something very valuable, Walker is a 3rd pair defenceman of little importance or upside.</div></div>
It's fine if you disagree. Thanks for the healthy debate.
As far as just being nitpicky, LA is 16th in points percentage, which is technically top half of the league (1-16, 17-32) and would mean above average, but I get your point.

awful for the leafs, downgrading massivly on forward only to a slower older bottom pairing defender and giving up a pick. Not even close

Why would the Leafs trading the good cost efficient Kerfoot for the Anderson's questionable contract even up? Then for the Leafs to add a 1st...obscene.
Fact is Holl is top 4 Dman .......20 minutes of hard minutes a game, for a good team and good defensive team.
Arizona doesn't nod that

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Random2152</b></div><div>Eh, just the dumb ones. The really funny thing is that he is a fine depth D at a excellent cap hit that is overall + value despite hard usage.
He is a depth player and they all have expiry dates for fanbases. For the first 100+ games it is still the honey moon, the 'OMG our 7th rounder is providing exceptional value' part of it, but after awhile the mistakes (that all depth players make and if they didn't they wouldn't be depth players) stop being forgiven and the fanbase turns on them.
Someday people will realise the grass isn't greener on the other side, but until then we get AGM's like this.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also OP, if Josh Anderson played in Toronto, more people would know that he is David Clarkson 2.0
The guy is legitimately terrible. The fact that he escapes the immense criticism he deserves is unbelievable.</div></div>
Many Leaf fans need to read this...twice. Three times if need be.

If they somehow make it work with the cap , Gourde would be terrific fit as a 3C. I still think a D should be #1 priority tho.

Most of it will be nonsense but Severson costs more for sure. San Jose still thinks they have a chance at the playoffs so they won't move Riemer which means you can't move Mrazek and I am not sure moving Amirov is smart, I would sooner move Robertson.
Don't listen to anyone about Kerfoot though, he's been really good this year and a 60+ point player making 3.4 million has major value. Guys doing far less get traded for far more and often. Kerfoot's having a much better season than Toffoli is and he just got moved for a 1st plus.</div></div>
your 100% right about Kerfoot he should bring closet to Toffoli return.
and San Jose is quickly realizing they are not a playoff team and will be selling but Reimer is having a really good season. he is one of the main reasons we were even in consideration for a playoff berth. so a third doesn’t cut it. anything less than a 2 nd and a 3rd wouldn’t be worth moving him for.

Kerf is quietly having his best season to date, he's on pace for 60 plus 5on5 pts , is very versatile and is worth that package of 2nds or if you want you can compare what Kerf is to Toffoli and they aren't that far apart. I keep Kerf as a leaf fan until the summer and sell him then with his value up high based on he'll only be owed 2 million for that last season of his contract

Arizona declines, not that Leafs need Crouse anyway. The usual overpay love for Mayfield. Miller is a nice add, but it's at quite a price for Leafs. I wish more thought would be put into next years cap.

Schenn for Holl(holl needs to go to the AHL to figure his game out right now so i wouldnt do this with Schenn contract so valuable for the minutes he plays)
MIller for Kerfoot(middle six forward ceiling which hes already reached), Amirov(their 3-4th best prospect) and a 1st which is a year away so that player is 3-4 years away at best. plus having VAN retain will cost more.</div></div>
yikes, if Holl needs to go to the AHL and 'figure it out' than Luke Schenn should be playing beer league in Timmins right now.
