Honestly, from Buffalo, nothing, you guys don't draft the type of players we like with your early picks.
And if you wanted this to happen, why not just keep Mitts?

Sabres does not need that kind of player, they have Skinner.</div></div>
Gee, I don't know, to me, 0.73 PPG is more useful than 0.6 PPG or 0.54 PPG, especially when the 0.6 PPG is over a sample of 263 games.
The only Sabres forwards who have a higher PPG are Alex Tuch and Tage Thompson. But maybe I'm wrong, and Dylan Cozens and Jack Quinn <strong>aren't</strong> very useful.
And before we get into a discussion about Zegras' perceived defensive shortcomings, allow me to point out that Rasmus Dahlin is -75 for his career.
(Full disclosure: it wouldn't <strong>occur</strong> to me to claim that Zegras has anywhere near the same worth as RD.)

I’d love Brady but I’d also love for Verbeek to trade up to the early teens to draft a possible Brady type guy in Michael Brandsegg-Nygard as well!

I don’t think the pieces needed Anaheim would make available but what do I know

I really don’t know what you mean. Jake Muzzin hasn’t been relevant in years
I think I’d move on to other things after this conversation tho. Schneider and first is a lot. Don’t push people away or anything, and you’ll get nada except 35-40 meaningless goals next year too. Lucky you. Maybe you want your goalies facing 50 shots a night idk</div></div>
You act like YOU are doing US a favor by taking our best scorer off our hands. No, no, no, no, no. We are giving YOU what YOU think is the missing piece that's going to get you over the top, in return for a guy who, however good he is or how high his future ceiling may be, is third on your depth chart at RhD and unlikely to rise higher as long as Fox and Trouba are healthy. As you yourself admit in this ACGM, Schneider is expendable.
If Muzzin is too far in the past to be relevant to you, fine, look at the Lindholm and Monahan trades this calendar year. If a valuable player on an expiring contract is worth a first, then a valuable player who has a whole 'nother season on his deal and thus two playoff runs for you should be worth substantially more. I may be ambitious in wanting Schneider as well as the first, or even greedy as my esteemed colleague <a href="/users/jded" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@jded</a> says, but I think that the point is still valid.

-I don't think Anaheim does this. I personally think they don't move Zegras at all, but if they do it's going to be for a high-end NHL ready prospect, not a B-tier prospect and a pair of picks. I think it's more likely that you would see Zegras for Slaf 1 for 1 than the Ducks bringing back picks.
-This feels weird for the Habs - giving up a pick to get a guy like Turcotte who looks interesting but would need a new contract and comes with injury red flags. I think I'd pass on this one if I'm Montreal.
-Extremely easy pass for Minnesota. Dvorak costs way too much for what he brings to the table for a Wild team that will still have the Suter/Parise buyout anchors next season.

Proving once again that's it's always 5 o'clock somewhere. We wouldn't trade Zegras <strong>or</strong> our top-5 2024 first for that package. FYI, LhD is our strongest and deepest position.

That's hard to believe. It would mean that CF followers actually know women and might even be intimate with them. Very doubtful.

Since Nylander is now signed The apparent fix is trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BillytheKid3</b></div><div>Good points.
I don't know if the cap situation works for any team here. They're all adding 7 mil so they would need to make additional chemistry destroying moves.
Marner is anchored on that deal mid-season unfortunately.</div></div>
All trades were bad and did not consider cap hits. Last year on this site and on Sportsnet I saw many trades like this suggesting like it was the best fix all and they involved Nylander or Marner.
This is meant as a joke ie the description and to prove that way more is needed to even consider trading marner or Nylander.
In the offseason, reports said Tre listened to offers for Nylander but none involved both a forward and potential high end D to make is worth it to even listed. None even involved a high end D one for one.
Hence why is wait to resign

i don't think anaheim is planning on trading him at his lowest value. them getting gauither doesn't mean they're planning on yeeting zegras into the void at the next opportunity.

Some of the trades are pretty wild, but I do think there could be something to the whole "<em>Ducks don't need to move him so you'll have to overpay"</em> mentality.
Zegras has crazy skill. From what I can tell, he needs to get his head on a bit straighter if he wants to be great. Dude could be a star in this league for a long time though, and that type of ceiling ain't cheap.
