I did like the zhalo supercell before the jump in boss room for the ads clear ngl

Dach, Xhekaj and Anderson for PLD???????? no thank you lmao
the ask for Xhekaj is def higher than what you'd want to pay, prob top 10 pick
Dach just went for a top 16 pick and a 3rd iirc
Anderson isnt enough to offset the value, him having a down year also doesnt help the habs, he could still up his value.
so a top 10, a top 16 and maybe a 2nd (if Anderson didnt have his down year, but now hes a cap dump ngl) for PLD?

Could be any team tbh. I think MTL should choose to trade one of Dvorak or Evans to make room for Beck or Kapanen (if they want more experience instead, Gignac did great when he got called up). I'd prefer to keep Evans, but logically Dvorak is needed more being a lefty.

I went to the comments about to say that exact thing montreal has too many d men and even if they didnt they would still take demidov

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Rob32sjsharks</b></div><div>The hell kind a stupid comment is this the 4th OA from the WAY better draft for the 5th from a much weaker draft has a chance of interesting Montreal lmfao. The only “chance” there is a slim one Mike Grier doesn’t get Fired! Btw keep Levshunov Musty looks like a better prospect right now IMO.</div></div>
Smith for 5th OA is MUCH closer than Musty for 5th OA. Smith and 5th OA will be in the same tier of prospects, 5th OA and Musty is probably a 2 tier difference.
I get hyping up your prospects and stuff, but saying Musty is worth that much is a flaming hot take.
I wouldn’t even say Hutson is worth a top 5 pick, and he broke a bunch of decade old NCAA records

Musty is NOT worth near 5th OA
Maybe change Musty for Smith and there’s a better chance

How about montreal keep the 5th overall pick or you add on top of the prospect, not the other way around

Rough Mock With A Question
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lafleur10</b></div><div>He's by far the drafts best shooter, but that's it. Would you pick the player with the best shot and mediocre to actually bad in many other facets of the game or the player who has a strong grasp of every aspect of the game.
I'm also starting to hear many people raise serious concerns over his character as we get closer to the draft and people really start to tear into potential prospects.</div></div>
So in a sense, is he another Alexander Holtz?

Work ethic, one dimensional, no defense. Unlike some scouts, I bet he goes in the top 8, but he's not going top 4

Habs please do this if he's available
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lafleur10</b></div><div>If he's available I'd love to draft Catton, first saw him at the Hlinka tourney last summer and immediately said "I want him", he then proceeded to put up a 100 point+ season so I want him even more now.
I think Demidov and Lindstrom are possibly but unlikely to be there at 5, maybe 20% chance it happens for Demidov, 30% for Lindstrom.
Despite very much so wanting Catton, I'll take a moment to bat for Iginla.
Good numbers, smart play, NHL royalty, and one factor a lot of people overlook, he's young. He may be the same age as everyone else in the draft but he's about a half year younger (I believe probably a bit more or less) than most of the top 10 candidates, that matters.
I'd really be happy with any of the forwards projected to go in the top 10.</div></div>
I'm scared because Grant McCagg is predicting Sennecke - He was right about Slaf and Reinbacher... so I'm terrified he's right again lol.
But, I'll let Bobrov cook. His picks have the tendency to be late bloomers and to make your swallow back some words.

Totally agrees with you. Only thing is that Lindstrom will be a jacket and Anaheim will go for Parekh. Here is how I would rank forwards :
Celebrini
Demidov
Catton
Lindstrom
Igilna
Sennecke

The Slafkovsky extension conversation
I don't like thinking that way but nowadays you can almost and I say almost here, see who's a team player and who's not by their contract. If a player take a "team friendly" 8 years to be there and win, I see him as a team player. On the other side, when a player takes a bridge deal to maximise his earnings, I don't think it's in the best interest of the team. I'm not saying ALL players that take bridge deals are selfish (maybe it's because of injuries of stuff like this), but if in this case you see your captain and your little dwarf friend signing for 8 years each at an AAV less than 8M, I don't see why you don't follow the lead and continu the way it is right now. Slaf looks like he'll be one heck of a player and for the 2nd half as you said, was point per game. I sure hope he takes the 8 years 7.85 AAV and develop in the big all-star powerforward that we want

Who does MTL pick
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lafleur10</b></div><div>For that first pick I think it'll go Lindstrom/Demidov->Catton->Iginla, depends who's available at 5,6,7. For the second it'll probably be traded in a similar move to Dach/Newhook, if not I'd take a look at Henry Mews, Beckett Sennecke, Ryder Ritchie, or even Cole Hutson. Masse would be a good pick there too. For the 2nd-3rd round picks I'd be shocked to see if Montreal doesnt take a long look at Aatos Koivu.</div></div>
I'm thinking that if Demidov is available, they'll take him before Lindstrom. but I'd be very surprised if he's still there at #5.
I do hope they have a go at #1, but in all reality, hope they still can get Lindstrom at the time of their pick.

I'm not sure if you just put him at the end because he is a goalie, but I would imagine Carter George is taken off the board well before the 7th round. Probably a 3rd round maybe late 2nd goalie.

last thing you want to do is get the same player you guys wanted so badly last year, because so much has changed!
cant say its not the wrong move to avoid him, it definitely is, its just funny how quickly opinions change.
