Lines 6
Maybe its just me but i think Heinen ends up with a deal and on the third line and Boqvist becomes your 13th forward. Everything else seems pretty spot on depending on the Poitras decision

What next because the depth is awful
I actually think depth is one of the strengths of the bruins current lineup. Theres guys in the AHL who probably are ready for a promotion and plenty of vets to fill in the empty spots. i think the weakness would be more in the idea that they have a lot of guys who could be slotted as middle 6/bottom 6 guys rather than sure fire top 6 guys. But maybe someone takes a step and surprises.

Not signing with NJ. Boston or retirement

Bruins Are Cooked
Gryz isnt getting moved. Id say Merkulov has more of an inside track on making the team than Lysell does, and Lauko will 100% play above Greer. Id bet on one of Beecher/McGlaughlin beating out Megna to play 4th line center too. Lohrei may push a LHD out of the way - but he prob ends up being a first call up guy.

roster outlook
I have a feeling Merkulov will make the team. somewhere on 2nd/3rd line probably playing LW.

Value is low for Gryz - B's most likely find a better offer. Could see the fit though!

Less is more
I feel like I see “Boston needs to shed cap so this guy will be cheap” Boston also has multiple ways to get under the cap. They can use 2 buyouts that won’t be debilitating they have multiple other players they can trade. This isn’t a Patrick Marleau going from Toronto to CAR. If ya want the player pay a fair price and you’ll get him.

B’s say no. They have more options to create space, if all they can get for Hall is next years 4th they’ll keep him

Be smart with the cap space
Gotta think the B’s would be all over that. Solves a chunk of their cap problems and they get value back

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BrandonMcD11</b></div><div>Do you think Bs accept a MTL 2023 2nd Round pick? (37OA). Whats the price on Swayman?</div></div>
To be honest - I think if they want to move Swayman they’d want to do it in a hockey trade that brings back a center. I also feel like they’d much rather move Ullmark out of the two and he can probably grab a 2nd himself so I think it’s gonna have to take a hefty return or a hockey trade for them to move Swayman instead of Ullmark

He sat due to a stylistic matchup (Bruins wanted to be bigger) which ended up being a mistake. In the games he played his analytics were arguably best on the team. He’s not getting a fifth. Stop with the “he sat in the playoffs so his values tanked”

brunos
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Waffelz</b></div><div>The Devils did it with Severson, and got a 3rd. He's a top pairing defenseman being paid $6m/yr. As far as I can tell, Connor Clifton is a bottom pairing defenseman playing less than 15 minutes a night, literally a dime a dozen in the NHL. And you think the Bruins can take this pending UFA, sign him and trade him to a team in exchange for an arguably higher quality player (who plays the exact same postion) on an extremely team friendly contract for the next 3 years? Why would the Sharks do this?</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Colton26</b></div><div>It's called a sign and trade. The devils did it with severson</div></div>
This would also require Clifton to agree to a deal specifically with San Jose in order to execute a sign and trade - which in my mind is unlikely for both San Jose and Clifton.

Best case scenario for Bostons off-season
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OldNYIfan</b></div><div>Aside from the fact that we can't afford to acquire Jake DeBrusk from both a roster and a cap perspective, Kevin Fiala (72 pts), Adrian Kempe (67 pts) and Viktor Arvidsson (59 pts) all outscored him this season, and Gabe Vilardi and Alex Iafallo probably would have, too, if they had played a full season, so we're not a team that needs a top-6 wing.</div></div>
Whether you think LA needs Jake or not (which they probably don’t) DeBrusk’s point per game was .78 which would be third out of all players you listed. You can’t use some stats for some guys and not use them for others. Those guys wouldn’t have outscored him, and he would’ve outscored Arvidsson had the numbers held up.

Id be good with that as a bruins fan, the depth behind will get thin Lindholm/Carlo/McAvoy with the subsequent moves the bruins will likely have to make.
