What would you be willing to Offer for Zegras? I do think he's a good fit but ANA and their fans have a high ask. They've rejected a 1st, Mesar (former 1st) and Barron (former 1st) for him on this board already

Send Raty down (he's playing wing now unless moved back to center next season) and forget about overpaying Duhaime. Put the money into 3C.</div></div>
Pod is a half a point per game AHL player, Barron doers that on the blueline, his value would be higher.

This is crazy, Armia's value alone is a 3rd round pick Jordan Harris can probably return a high 3rd or low second. This is all very confusing

Hurricanes Trade Necas
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MTLaveragefan</b></div><div>And MTL's need are top 6 wingers... conclusion : Canes and habs are not great trading partners right now. And that's okay.
We have a surplus of Dmans and picks. We have a GREAT need for top 6 talent... and it is absolutely dumb to trade a top 6 players for another. Its a laterral move at best.
Altough considering you have to resign more than half your Dcore next season... I'm sure one of our Dman could be of interest.
<strong>BTW </strong>- Caufield (23yo) has better projected points (64 pts/82g v.s 58pts/82g) as Necas (25yo) while playing on a TERRIBLE team and coming back from major shoulder surgery. Also, Slaf, at 19, is projected 12 pts behind Necas... even after the terrible start where he got 10 pts in 34 games. So I would dial it back a little bit on that front.</div></div>

Caufield is 2.5 years younger and doing the same things, I wouldn't trade Caufield of Suzuki straight up for Necas. Obviously not Slafkovsky either

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>No, there's no package of futures that will interest Carolina. The only way I think the Canes would be okay parting with Necas is if he is in a package for a substantial upgrade, like EP40 that they tried at the deadline. Montreal doesn't have that. *Maybe Suzuki* but even then I'm not so sure.</div></div>
Matheson is not a futures asset lol, he's a DMAN with 50 points right now, your depth on D is lacking to start next year if the Canes are keeping Guentzel i see a fit for a trade here, call me crazy. I don't see a world where Carolina locks up Gunetzel, Jarvis and Necas to long term deals and Necas was already bridged.

Another 2nd round pick
seems ridiculous to imply that two first round picks and two second round picks aren't enough
