Plays heavy minutes versus top six forwards. No easy shifts.
Moves well. Despite his stature he has the ability to escape pressure / turn up ice / lead the rush on occasion. Leans distributor more than shooter but he has a solid release that can beat goalies from range, or create second chances off rebounds.
Not physical for his size. Relies on containing opponents with his wing span and long reach.
A young, still developing, NHL defenceman that is mature beyond his years and has, at least, another level to add to his play.

Potential to be an elite top pairing NHL defender. Can log 22:00 (+) minutes per game in all situations. Big body who leans on opponents more than he punishes them physically
Long reach and stature is a bonus when gapping up to take away space and when defending on the PK. A fluid skater who is very agile for his stature. Has the ability to escape pressure and lead the rush on his own or join as an extra layer. More of a distributor than a shooter on the PP.

A complete player. Future top pairing 'D' who could end up being a 'Franchise Player'.
Can be used in all situations and log big minutes (23:00 - 25:00)
Really good skater. Can lead the rush with the puck on his stick or join it late as an extra layer offensively. Distributes more than he shoots. Sees the ice. Elite hockey 'IQ'
On the PK he is quick to space and uses his long reach to his advantage. Leans on people. At times he will play heavy but it's not a consistent element of his game.
