There definitely is a chance Chicago passes on levshunov. Meeting with demidov seeing him over 6’, can speak decent English, basically saying his dream is to play in the nhl. He isn’t extending in the khl. He is a dynamic forward and Chicago needs to take the best player available.

The obvious pick at 2 is Demidov. However, Chicago aren’t gonna be good next year, so they will end up with a high pick. Next year’s draft is gonna be a very weak one for defenseman, but an insane one for forwards. So does Chicago really want to risk not getting Logan Hensley and Lev just to get Demidov? I don’t think so. I think they draft Lev and draft Hagens, Frondell, Misa or Ekberg
