Deadline Sale

Description
I look to re-sign Nash as a UFA next summer after selling him to a contender at the deadline. I also look at the return for Zucc and if someone wants to make a crazy overpay with a top top end prospect/pick package, I probably do it and then cry after.

Don’t know if I would re-sign Nash honestly, nothing against him but he’s hardly a 40 point player at this point. If he loves being here and would take a deal close to $4 M than fine and that may be too much. Zucc has to get re-signed in a year as well as Mac... if that package can be the return for Zucc, I’d do it. Don’t think Nash brings back a 1 and 2nd though. Totally am okay giving Gropp 3rd line minutes to see what he can do here.

Simply disagree with you on Nash re return. He is a perfect deadline rental and GM's pay stupid prices at the deadline. You could easily see that trade with someone like Dallas bidding against Nashville at the deadline. Right in line with you on the resign though. 2/3 yr term at 3.25/4m at the highest AAV. Don't care about Gropp personally, think he is pure bust, but we need to field a team after the deadline and might as well see what he can do.

I think the Grabner, Holden, DD trades are fair. LA isn't gonna give up their highest draft pick in a decade anytime soon though
