Description
John Carlson sign and trade. Colorado gets 2 defenseman, 1 experienced and one young prospect.

Vegas gets a goalie and another 1st round pick. Orpik is a cap dump.


Caps quickly sure up their defense and let Bowey play up with Orlov till Niskanen comes back then he and Djoos have some fun on the 3rd pair. Top 4 of Orlov Niskanen Barrie and Schmidt. Long term don't have to sign Carlson.

Add center depth and goal scoring to create a legit top 9 unlike what is currently constructed

Barrie can give Ovi the pass he needs on the PP

2nd PP becomes a bit deeper

Team adds more speed to the lineup full time

I have seen worse, usually from Montreal fans, but yeah, it doesn't get MUCH more unrealistic.
