Winnipeg LVK MTL 3 way deal

Description
Galchenyuks days in MTL come to an end and the only reason he signed the deal he did was because it takes him to UFA status while still being able to get paid. It also makes him very trade worthy. In return, they get a solid LW/C playmaker in Perrault who also is french canadian which they love. They also get a 1st rounder in 2018 and a former 1st round pick in Stanley to replenish their D prospects.
WPG then turns and flips Galchenyuk to LVK for Marchessault to center their 3rd line, as well as re-unite him with JARG who they signed as a UFA for one year. They also get an NHL ready LHD in Schmidtt for the playoff run as injuries are likely to occur. They also then carry 8-D and 13FWDs for the season, or send Chiarot down to carry the extra fwd.

WPG sacrifices futures in Stanley and the 2018 1st, as well as a very good player in Perrault for a year of Marchessault and a 2 of Schmidt (assuming they can't be re-signed) in order to push all in now. That D-Depth is unmatched in the NHL while not sacrificing much in the way of offence.

MTL and LVK fans what's your take on the deals? I think the big winner in the 3 way deal is actually LVK as they get the best player but MTL and WPG get what they're looking for in the short term as their windows are now. MTL does still get futures which they badly need as their cupboards are pretty bare.

I like it but that's a lot to give up for 2 years of Schmidt and a year of Marchessault if you can't re-sign them. Salary wise though it makes sense to move Perrault now though before Ehlers, Morrisey, Trouba, Laine, etc need raises.

Not a chance MTL takes that..... We need a #1C Even if Galchenyuk isn't that guy, trading him for anything other that #1C makes no sense. Unless it was for a top pairing LHD which we could use also.

Galchenyuk is worth more than that, he's a great hockey player, you underestimated..
