Per Jimmy Murphy we’re in on Pinto.

Even tho it’s unlikely Ottawa trades one of their best young player in the division - Montreal.

But we could make an interesting offer. What about

To Montreal : Shane Pinto

To Ottawa : Philip Mesar Jayden Struble and 2ND

I think Montreal is a very realistic trade partner for Ottawa/Pinto. there's no rivalry anymore...both teams suck. Pinto fits Montreal's mold and Montreal has what Ottawa wants/needs: (cheap) youth and picks.

We both suck but if I look at Montreals prospects and roster theres no way I could help them. Their top 6 would be nasty, and their defensive prospects make them a soon to be playoff contender.

You are too kind

Playing Devil's advocate - you should want Montreal to be a playoff contender - that way the rivalry is back wink

Montreal has interest, doesn't mean the Senators are going to trade him for a bag of pucks.

Reinbacher for Pinto 1 for 1.

Or go ahead and offer sheet him for +$6M to give up a 1rst and 3rd next year.

I feel like every fanbase says this every time, but this is the one scenario where I genuinely believe that Philly just will not under any circumstances be outbid if Ottawa truly makes Pinto available. Just makes waaaay too much sense for them
