I don’t know much about him, but CapFriendly says he’s a 3rd pairing guy, 6’5, 218lbs, and 32 years old

EP Has him at 6'7" 225lbs, which is always more accurate a majority of the time

He was a god in my fantasy team for BLKs and Hits

I've had this guy on many Acgm created for the Leafs over the past couple years, finally it's happening.

Timmins I hope you enjoy the bus rides with the Marlies.

This tells me besides Timmins someone else may be on their way out

As I dont think they signed a 1.5m guy to sit him in the pressbox

You forgot OEL they didnt sign a guy to 3.5m to sit him

Honestly its either Liligren getting traded or Benoit sitting rn

That may be this teams future depending on if they are still wanting to play McCabe on his offside or if they still want to keep Liligren

Benoit sits/rotates in as 7th D, until an injury occurs and Benoit takes the 6th spot.

Same goes for Reaves and Dewar, they rotate from 12th to 13th forward.

One thing is Dewar is a LW reaves is a RW.

Benoit I can see rotate with Hakinpaa but it would lead to some confusion amongst the pairings as you dont want McCabe shifting every other game and not building chemistry or vice versa

I think a trade or two is coming

Solid third pairing defenseman. He didn't play for Dallas in the playoffs this year, but I don't know if that's because he was hurt or the acquisition of Tanev made him surplus. I think he was a bit of a late bloomer -- he didn't stick in the NHL until he was around 28 -- but maybe that means it'll take him longer to decline too. 2 years at $1.5M is a pretty low risk in any case. This could turn out to be the best of Toronto's four defenseman signings in terms of value.

Jarnrok is an utility man, can play any forward spot, so Jarnrok also rotates positions in the bottom 6.

Steeves is no longer waiver protected so I think he gets the McMann treatment and becomes the 14th forward, first Marlie recall.

Jarnkrok is probs gone. I get the sense Tor is just waiting then will trade him to Pitt

Steeves yea probs McMann waived sent down call up if needed but will he impress and stay is the question

I don't understand why people are always talking about Jarnkrok getting traded. In his first year in Toronto he was one of their best contracts in terms of what they got from him per dollar of cap hit. Less so this past season, but only because he had a major injury, so unless there's good reason to think he won't bounce back from that, you'd have to make a pretty good offer for me to want to trade him.

Jarnkrok does not perform in playoffs and he was not great this year

Keefe and Dubas are gone and he does not scream Berube guy

Trade him and replace him with someone like Leason
