I'm all for a Pinto trade. Maybe Riechel is a piece they'd look for.

As a side note...How is OTT only $4M off the cap ceiling? Just feels so strange after all the previous years under Melnyk that they have $4M in cap space left.

If Pinto is only $3.5M, Senators keep him.
Senators don't have room for Athanasiou even with retention.

Big contracts kicking in. Chabot, Sanderson, Stu & Tkachuk all over $8M, Norris, just under. That's $40M of 5 guys. Throw in Ullmark, Giroux, Batherson, Zub and now Perron & Jensen and the cap goes quick.

I guess it wasn't meant to be so literal because I can see the breakdown. Just so very surprised.
