Tbh he’s worth it.

One of the best PKers in hockey.

Excellent defensively.

Can play like 15 minutes a night if you need.

Can handle tougher matchups.

Appear MN wants to have the highest paid bottom 6 in the league. Like the player but wish it would have been 3 million x 2/3 years. Seems like he's filling the role that Foligno was supposed to be playing?

I like the player, but not at that term and AAV. Cut both in half and I'd be ok with them, this is the Foligno extension all over again where Guerin just likes a certain player and bids against himself to get them signed.

Guerin: We'll go $2.5m for 3 years.
Trenin: I was thinking $3m for 3 years.
Guerin: Playing hardball huh? $3.5m for 3 years.
Trenin: I mean I guess..
Guerin: Fine! $3.5m for 4 years!
