He’s not really young anymore and is bad defensively, takes too many penalties, isn’t a good penalty killer nor good enough for the powerplay and he doesn’t hit or block shots. 2.1x2 isn’t a lot but I suspect Blues fans will be disappointed in him. He got 30 points as a middle 6 forward but I’d be surprised to see him get close to 30 for St Louis in a bottom 6 role but I hope I’m wrong

it's a solid move for a solid young player. He's at worst a 3rd liner.

He’s been inconsistent, and his best season came as a + 3rd/4th line guy.

I think he has the potential trial to be a good Mikheyev comp, maybe a Jarnkrok. And at that price, great value.
