Description

Goalies- Buyout Campbell and give Rodrigue a chance until the deadline.

Defense- like it or not, Nurse stays. trade for john Marino and let the McLeod bros play together. Broberg should be playing full time in the NHL at the moment, so unfortunately Kulak is the odd man out on the left side. He's solid, and a Defense upgrade on many team's third pair.

Offense- let Foegele walk, he had a great season and priced himself out. Cap dump Kane, I think we could get a 4th for him from somewhere. Signing Brown and Janmark is really important. Toffoli is the big splash, and he'd be willing to play in Edmonton I'm sure after playing in Winnipeg. save at least a million in cap space to add at the deadline. bottom six could be edited a bit I am sure, and this team has some cap flexibility.

Why do you think Ottawa would spend a second to acquire Kulak?

Kulak isn’t worth a 2nd even if he wasn’t being overpaid. but he is, so he’s *really* not worth a 2nd

I don't think anyone really thinks the Walman trade sets the market for anything. It's either part of the conspiracy of the NYR/SJS/DET work around NTCs....or Yzerman stinks.

Cause Kulak is good. He's not a cap dump. We just have 4 NHL LD's.

So does OTT, to be fair lol. Some team may pay something for Kulak, but not OTT
