I actually thought that was too much. Jets fans overvaluing a player that hasn't even touched the Nhl. He also wants out which makes it risky to trade for him cause who knows if he'll sign with the team or want to get traded again so his value his lower. I was thinking more of just a first and Skora and maybe like a lower pick.

Ottawa declines and Winnipeg likely does as well (depends what they think of Sykora).

Schneider doesn't sign that contract. Rangers cannot give 8 years to DeBrusk. Pass on Motte.

As a Rangers fan, stop imagining that Tkachuck is going to us. It's not happening, it won't be worth what it would cost to get him.

I understand with the motte and Debusk but why wouldn't Sneider sign that contract?

As a NYR fan the Winn trade isnt close to good enough. The Ott trade is horrible for NYR, you may fault his playoffs but Panarin carried this team for stretches in the regular season. Players who play on his line usually have career years. Strome, PLD, Laf, Trocheck, Fast, Blackwell, Atkinson, Goodrow just to name a few and if its to get better in the playoffs, well Brady has never played in the playoffs.

Outside of Panarin who we don't want there's nothing there. We'd want a young stud like Laf + Schneider/Perreault who's similar age to Timmy/Sanderson.

Laf might be a stud...i hope so, but he played all year with Panarin and he creates studs simply by playing on the same line. Hoping NYR try Kakko with Panarin if only to get him going/up trade value.
That being said I truly think you swap Panarin with Brady straight up you guys are a true contender. Him and Stutzle would score 120 each

Don't get me wrong Panarin is one of the 10 best players in the NHL right now, but we can't afford to trade Brady for a guy who's 32 (Will be 33 at the beginning of the season) regardless how good he is.
