Description

I think we should bring back Matt Martin. I do NOT think we should shake up the 4th line removing both CC and Martin in one fell swoop. I think Martin is still a good jocky player who has shown to be able to stay healthy, and still has reasonable defensive point shares.

I'm not sure what the exact cap situation is in CAR. But at least they have a serviceable right wing at a discount. Also, a second is basically what they would receive as compensation if we were to offer sheet.

lol car blocks your number. a 33 year old 1 year from ufa and a 2nd is not getting necas.

not to mention your offer sheet argument is so stupid. if necas would sign at 5 he would have already been signed. he wants 7+.
if islanders would send necas an offer sheet at 5 he would never sign it and lets say he even did car would match so fast.

maybe go back to the drawing board and use some critical thinking skills

Study what offersheet compensations are. Look up these players who CAR would be considering resigning. Necas, Jarvis, Guentzel, Skjei. I'm not going to put the pieces together like mommy. You're going to have to act like a big boy and look up information. Then you can speak with the confidence you need to have an adult conversation.

Necas, Jarvis, Guentzel, Skjei, Teravanen and others. 23mil. You're going to take some Ls. Next year you're going to take more. Palmieri scored 30 goals this year, and his cap hit would be 2.5mil for you. Seems reasonable.
