Players often traded to the hawks I dont want

Created by: Earth
Team: 2024-25 Chicago Blackhawks
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 24, 2024

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Trades
1.
CHI
  1. Marner, Mitchell
Additional Details:
Marner is a great player but I am not interested in giving up the assets it would take to get him. Chicago is still rebuilding and should not be investing big assets at this stage yet. Marner's next contract is also a big concern.
TOR
2.
CHI
  1. Robertson, Nicholas [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Robertson is a fine player but Chicago needs to add size among their forwards. Even if Chicago didn't need to add size and adding a small forward was in the picture, I would not pay the price leafs fans on this site are asking.
TOR
3.
CHI
  1. Timmins, Conor
Additional Details:
Injured every single season of his professional career. I would not invest a single asset in Timmins.
TOR
4.
CHI
  1. Kämpf, David
Additional Details:
Bottom 6 players are not a need in Chicago. Even if they want to mix up the bottom 6 they won't be spending assets to do so. They also let Kampf walk a few years ago. Don't see them investing assets to bring him back.
TOR
5.
CHI
  1. Zegras, Trevor
Additional Details:
Talented player but not a huge fan of what Zegras brings to the table. Not interested in giving up the assets it would take to get him. Would rather use that assets on a different player.
ANA
6.
CHI
  1. Garland, Conor
Additional Details:
Doesn't fit the rebuild timeline. Can find middle six wingers from cap dumps and free agency
VAN
7.
CHI
Below are less common than those above but I've still seen time to time on this website
    VAN
    8.
    CHI
    1. Brännström, Erik [RFA Rights]
    Additional Details:
Hawks have a surplus of left shot defensemen. Brannstrom does not fill a need
    OTT
    9.
    CHI
    1. Rakell, Rickard
    Additional Details:
This is not a good contract. Even with assets coming back I am hesitant to take this on.
    PIT
    10.
    CHI
    1. Dvorak, Christian
    Additional Details:
Zero assets will be given. Sweetener needed.
    MTL
    11.
    CHI
There is another category of players that are often dumped to Chicago I felt less of a need to address, like Campbell, Lee and Mikheyev. All could be dumped to Chicago for the right price.

idk why any pens fan would send out Rakell to Chicago. His NTC is blocking that.

I maked few Dvorack trade to Chicago as a cap dump, but for two reason.

      1st : Hometown guy

2nd : Can be buyout by the Hawks

I think the Hawks would take Dvorak and a 2nd as a pure cap dump, but generally speaking the trades formed assuming the Hawks value Dvorak. Trades of Dvorak + a 2nd for a 4th are fine; Dvorak + a 5th for a 4th is instantly declined.

He should have been grouped with Lee and Mikheyev, guys I would take with an asset coming back. I even said that in Dvorak's description. Just categorized him wrong.
