They should be able to get more for Manson considering what he has left of his deal (GM's love shorter term because of the flexibility it provides) and the fact he plays the right side. His ability to produce some offense would also be welcome. I would ask for at least a 2nd.

I agree. I'd rather get Tanev (and I'd be willing to throw $8 million and a guarantee of trading him at the deadline if that's what it takes), but until we acquire a third RD, Manson for a 3rd is a good deal.

That’s a huge no from the avalanche. There is no reason to make this trade. We need Manson and he’s worth much more than a 3rd.
