Sens need to get their special teams into the upper half of the league if they want a chance at playoffs

I'm sure the Flames would be very interested in Norris with retention.

Especially if the cost to acquire him is equivalent to Pelletier + Mangiapane (50% retained).

Nope. You can pencil him into an LTIR slot the next 6 years. Not a risk i’m willing to take at any cost. Certainly not a pair of key assets.

maybe if you take out Frederic its a discussion. $6.5M is still way too much for Norris based on what he's done.

Retaining on Norris this early in his contract isn't going to happen.

If Norris is going to be traded, it's going to be for another high risk player like Laine or to a team that needs to hit the cap floor.

dont see a world norris gets moved, esp not for that. hes talented but dude cant stay healthy and that cap hit is not pretty. i could see norris + for laine but thats about it. unless ur willing to give him away which i dont see happening
